I believe this was for the surreal project...anyways, I used the stairway picture from inside arc de triomphe for this. It was challenging to resize and position the stairway in correspondence to the pupil of the eye. Originally for this surreal project I wanted to incorporate an idea from a dream I had a few months ago. In my dream I saw a lady standing behind a tall bush of red roses and surrounding her were white roses. As I stepped closer I saw that the red roses were growing ON her. Wherever thorns pierced her flesh and dripped with blood, rose roots were sucking up that blood. Once I realized that the roses were red because of the lady's blood, I woke up.
